The Library and Archives of the Uam is comprised of eight libraries and a number of specialized centers such as the Archive Map Library, Documentation Centre of Natural Areas, Statistics Documentation Centre, European Documentation Centre and the Unit for Audiovisual and Multimedia Resources (URAM).
- The File started work in 1987, with nearly 20 years behind the birth of the Autonomous University of Madrid. Currently depends on the Library and Archives of the UAM. Welcomes the documentation that the university administration.
- The Cartoteca "Rafael Mas" is a specialized library materials in all types of cartographic
: maps (topographic, geological, crops and land use, historical, etc.) nautical charts, aerial photographs, satellite imagery, digital mapping, etc. It has 43 seats and 2 seats reading digital mapping query. - The Documentation Center Natural is a joint initiative of the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Fundación Fernando Gonzalez Bernaldez, with the collaboration of EUROPARC-Spain. Located in the Science Library and funds covering all sorts of publications on natural areas, with special reference to English protected areas. It has 16 seats for reading and 2 computers for user consultation.
- The Statistics Documentation Centre is a service of the Library of Economics specializes in statistical data and economic data from businesses. Have read 76 posts and 7 of bibliographical reference.
- The European Documentation Centre is a specialized center which is established as the depository library for publications of the European Union are regularly published document collections by
Union institutions. Its purpose is to disseminate information and documentation about the European institutions to facilitate knowledge and research about the Union and its policies. You can find most of the documents published by the European Union: Official Journal, legislation and jurisprudence of the European Communities and periodicals. The Centre has 24 reading places enabled bibliographic review of the material offered. - The Unit Audiovisual and Multimedia Resources (URAM) is a support center for teaching and research whose primary vocation dissemination and promotion of technologies and audiovisual content and multimedia in our university community . The URAM has an audiovisual collection consisting of over 3000 titles, a room Video conferencing, a multimedia room and additional facilities for the preparation and consultation of materials and digital resources.
